Yacht listing review
A useful answer to an advert can be a short email. Within two business days you get half a screen. The boat was not opened for that letter and the seller was not called. Three photos in the link, no year on the standing rigging, and missing facts must not be filled with invented confidence. The review is one public URL and a written note: free (€0) until 1 January 2027 UTC (normally €49). It is not a hull survey and not a buy/don’t-buy guarantee.

How does the listing review work?
Send the public listing URL and your questions in the message field. Until 1 January 2027 UTC the request is free (€0, normally €49 via Stripe); a short note arrives by email within two business days. If the advert is thin, the letter says what is missing rather than inventing confidence. The usual lane is sailing and motor cruisers 9-18 m in the EU and Baltic / northern waters. A second boat in the same order is already a different service. A competitor’s five-listing video review from €99 does not transfer here.
What do we check in the listing?
Closed list: whether photos match the stated condition; whether price, year and kit line up; gaps in survey history; signs of charter conversion; broker vs private seller. We mark what to verify on a viewing or pre-purchase survey. Engine hours and phrases like “the boat needs care” are things other guides invent; this letter does not promise them.

No moisture meter, no oil analysis, no title or VAT legal opinion, no insurance survey. Soft decks, keel bolts and bilge smell cannot be seen from a listing file. Cruisers longer than 18 m and commercial programmes are outside these €49 - the answer then is short: not this service.

- Is a listing review the same as a survey?
- No. The review is remote diligence on one advert. An independent surveyor inspects the boat, usually with haul-out, after you shortlist.
- What do I need to provide?
- The public listing URL. Budget or deal-breakers help; an extra PDF helps when the advert is thin, but is optional.
- How fast is the note?
- Within two business days after your request (free until 1 January 2027 UTC, €0; normally €49 via Stripe). Several boats in one request do not stack - that is a separate booking.
- Can you review megayacht or commercial listings?
- Lane: sailing and motor cruisers 9-18 m in the EU and Baltic / northern waters. Very large or commercial programmes are not this service; we say so plainly.
- Can you evaluate a YachtWorld or Boat24 listing before I fly out?
