Hallberg-Rassy

HR 57

Ask about this model

We reply within 2-3 days.

On the live Hallberg-Rassy 57 card the beam chip still shows 5.57 m, and the history block nearby flashes 280-820 hulls with tildes. The yard sheet in Ellös prints something else: beam 5.11 m without the rubbing strake and 5.15 m with it, the model in production since 2018, and the number of 57s delivered not named on the public sheet. Until the card drops the wrong beam and the invented count, you are not yet looking at current Frers HR 57 buyers mean in broker listings.

The designer on the sheet is Germán Frers. The yard hub keeps its own Monsun/Frers-era story - the stake on this page is different: the figures on the 57 itself. Hull 17.44 m, maximum length with appendages 18.44 m, waterline 16.77 m, standard draft 2.43 m (a 38 cm shallower option exists), empty-standard displacement 28 t, lead bulb 9.9 t. Twin wheels and twin rudder blades - as on the HR 44 and 340. Engine Volvo Penta D4-175, transmission hydraulic with shaft, not a saildrive; fuel 1050 L, water 1030 L. Live chips already hold 2018+ and LOA about 17.4 m; LWL is missing on the card for the antifoul calculator - the yard sheet supplies it.

Design history

Class predecessors on the previous-models table are HR 54/55 (2006-2017, 53 hulls), HR 53, HR 64. The 57 itself is not on that list: it is a current orderable Frers. European Yacht of the Year 2019 nomination in the luxury cruiser class is press, not a substitute for survey. We do not invent a 57 hull count: neither 280 nor 820 has a source in this pass.

Typical problems

On survey, apart from the false beam, check play and bearings on both rudders, bulb bolts, moisture in the deck sandwich at the posts, teak and standing-rigging age by invoices, shaft and hydraulics service. The live FAQ still talks about a saildrive - for a shaft-drive specification that is the wrong drive in one line.

Annual ownership costs

Read kronor annual bands as a marina class around 17 m, not a yard offer. We do not carry an asking price or the yard «fixed order price» here as a deal quote.

Calculators for this boat

Indicative figure for weekend use. The country supplies berth and winter. The insurance line stays the Swedish planning band - not a Danish, German, or Dutch premium. Maintenance stays Swedish too. Not a marina quote.

  • Netherlands (annual contract)€7,700 - €11,625
  • Sweden (planning bands)€10,100 - €15,600
  • Denmark (two harbours, season)€7,717 - €11,548

Antifouling

Litres need waterline length and draft. This page only has length overall and beam, so litres are not calculated here.

Pre-purchase survey checklist

Beside this page: the Hallberg-Rassy hub, HR 54/55 and smaller Frers models on the site. Their opens are not cloned here: first fix beam and hull count on the 57 card itself.
