Guest berth
Guest berths for visiting yachts: what you buy for a night, FairHelm practical checks, and limits on assuming length overall always fits.
Що це
A guest berth is a specific visitor berth or rafting arrangement offered to non-resident yachts, usually priced per night or per short stay.
Anchor
Nordic harbours may mark guest fingers, wall berths, or raft-up zones. FairHelm meets boats charged for LOA while squeezed into shorter gaps.
FairHelm judgment
FairHelm judgment: measure your LOA and draught against the berth, not the brochure photo. Ask how rafting and shore-power billing work before you commit.
Limits
We do not quote harbour tariffs here. Dues change by season and harbour.
Часті запитання
Q: Is a guest berth reserved automatically when I arrive?
A: Not always. Call, radio, or harbourmaster first in busy weeks.
Q: Does guest berth include unlimited shore power?
A: Often metered or limited. Read the harbour card.
Q: Can two boats share one guest berth?
A: Sometimes by rafting. Confirm liability and fendering rules.
