What is VHF radio (SRC)?

VHF is marine radio for distress, safety and routine calls. SRC is the operator licence most countries and charters require before you transmit. This online course prepares for the exam: theory, simulations, then a FairHelm completion certificate. The official ISSA SRC exam is separate. ISSA SRC does not replace a national licence if flag or charter requires one. No prior certificate needed. An in-person basic course often fits one day; here the same syllabus at your own pace.

Free radio trial vs this course

The free listen-and-decode track shows air sound without grades. This course: structure, feedback and a path to the school certificate. The exam question bank is reading, not a course substitute.

What the landing does not promise

The paper at the end is not the official association certificate. ISSA exam fee is not inside these EUR 20. Radio certificate issue fee: another page, EUR 50, postage aside; other schools' 100 EUR figures are not pasted here. This subscription does not replace national rights. Other online courses with RYA prices and an in-person exam are their product, not ours.
