Buyer consultation

A FairHelm buyer consultation is a fixed-fee video call for used-yacht buyers in the Nordic and Baltic lane. We review your shortlist, survey scope, and deal-breakers before you wire a deposit. The published floor is €150 for a one-hour session. We do not take broker commission and we do not sell the boat.

From €150. Book via the form below or pay a deposit on the advisory page.

How does buyer consultation work?

Send your budget band, preferred LOA, and candidate links or model names. We confirm a slot within one business day. On the call we walk the shortlist, flag survey risks we already know on that type, and leave you with written next steps. Optional deposit on the advisory checkout holds the slot while logistics are confirmed.

What we cover

Model and layout fit for Baltic cruising, price realism vs year and kit, survey and haul-out planning, broker vs private-sale process, and when a €49 listing review is enough before a full call. We stay on the buyer side. Hallberg-Rassy, Najad, and similar 9-18 m cruisers are the day-to-day lane.

What this consultation is not

Not a hull survey, not a valuation certificate, not legal or tax advice, and not a brokerage warehouse. We cannot open soft decks or bilges from a PDF. Megayacht or commercial programmes need a different desk; we will say so rather than stretch the product.

Buyer consultation FAQ

Is this the same as the €49 listing review?
No. Listing review is a remote red-flag note on one advert. Buyer consultation is a live call on shortlist, survey scope, and deposit timing.
Can I pay online?
Yes. Request the call here, then use the advisory checkout for an optional deposit, or book the published €150 buyer consultation row on the advisory menu.
Do you take commission if I buy?
No. Fees are fixed and published. We do not earn broker commission on the boats you purchase.
Who is this for?
Distance buyers and first-time Nordic owners who want an independent filter before travel, deposit, or survey day rates.
