On the Maxi 100 chip the production years still read 1980–1995, while the overview nearby already flashes a short tail 1983–1985. Until the table and the text match what Sailguide prints - series 1982–1985, about two hundred hulls including Maxi 100 PS - you are not yet looking at that short Maxi 95 successor with a bathing platform that this page is about.

Pelle Petterson stands on Sailguide and YachtDatabase; Maxi-family SQL cleanup keeps his name too. Sailguide calls Maxi 100 the successor to an already ageing Maxi 95: similar outside, but with an integrated bathing platform. She is easier to handle because of a self-tacking jib - and that means even less sail area than the 95. In the cockpit a large table sits ahead of the wheel. This is not a “simply renamed 95”: the stake here is to fix the Maxi 100 card itself, not to retell the 95 listing name fork.

Design history

Length figures are not one number either. Sailguide puts 9.9 m. The live chip shows 10 m. The numeric cleanup and the sailboatdata/sailboatlab snippet show 10.50 m. Beam around 3.2 m agrees. Draft in the sources is about 1.55–1.65 m (Sailguide 1.6 m). Displacement: Sailguide 4,400 kg, live page ~5,200 kg, one 100 PS listing 5,080 kg. We do not pick one “correct” kilogram here. Waterline length was not found on the opened Sailguide card - we leave a gap, we do not invent it.

Typical problems

Years and hull count are a survey stake, not brand romance. Overview cleanup already changed 1980–1995 to 1983–1985 and length to 10.50 m, but chips on the live page on 2026-09-23 still show the long window and LOA 10 m. Hull counts: Sailguide about 200 including 100 PS, YachtDatabase under 200, sailboatlab snippet 150. The live upper bound ~470 is not taken into the bank - no source in this pass. Maxi 100 PS is the same base with a doghouse over the cockpit; YachtDatabase gives under a hundred PS hulls. Maxi 1000 from Nimbus in 1992 is another boat on the neighbouring Maringuiden shelf, not a 95 tail.

Annual ownership costs

Before a deposit a short list is enough. On the transom and in the papers read 100 or 100 PS, do not confuse with 1000. Years in the documents match the short window 1982/83–1985, not the 1980–1995 chip. On the stern look for the platform Sailguide describes, and do not expect “95 sail area”. On survey check moisture in the deck at the posts, standing-rigging age by invoices, drive service and keel-bolt history - the same stakes the live checklist names, without inventing a FairHelm percentage “norm”. The kronor annual table on the live page can be read as a cost class for a Swedish marina around 10 m, not a yard offer and not a substitute for a rigging reserve. We do not invent an asking price here.

Calculators for this boat

Indicative figure for weekend use. The country supplies berth and winter. The insurance line stays the Swedish planning band - not a Danish, German, or Dutch premium. Maintenance stays Swedish too. Not a marina quote.

  • Netherlands (annual contract)€4,480 - €7,571
  • Sweden (planning bands)€6,000 - €10,300
  • Denmark (two harbours, season)€4,590 - €7,497

Antifouling

Litres need waterline length and draft. This page only has length overall and beam, so litres are not calculated here.

Beside this page the site already has Maxi 95 (its own name fork), Maxi 84, Maxi 999 and Hallberg-Rassy compares. Those opens are not copied here: first fix this 100’s card.
